    Good, but not great

Some of the art feels really rushed on this issue. I am enjoying this series overall, but we need to be getting somewhere a bit quicker. There is a really cool action scene on the airplane where the Falcon stages a rescue of Bucky, probably one of the highlights of the mini-series so far. This series is good but I wanted the return of Steve Rogers to be great. 2 issues to go let’s hope it can get there.

this issue really disappointed me. after reading the first two issues, i would think the whole 5-issue-miniseries would keep to the action all the way through but this issue was not related to caps war days. maybe bringing in the thunderbolts into this issue is wrong ? hmm - the next 2 issues better get back to what it was !

steve relives the time he was found by namor and the kree/skrull war while in the present Bucky is held hostage by the thunderbolts but luckily the falcon manages to save him (ant-man manages to release his bonds for him).  brubaker has made this comic a little confusing but since hitch is giving his best artwork on the series still means that it will still be bought by people who enjoy his work
