Party of their lives
Generally speaking this wasn´t a bad issue, but it wasn´t good either, this one shot stays in a grey area, thus the middlle rate. The bad thing about this issue is that Steve Rogers appears only in 2 small panels, so this isn´t about Captain America at all, this should be tittled as "Black Widow & Sharon Carter against the crazy evil blonde lady that owns a school for teaching girls how to become killers and assassins and is throwing a ball just to raise more money for her evil plans", it could have lots of different names, but not "Captain America and the Secret Avengers", because there isn´t no Captain America and the Secret Avengers, there are only Natasha and Sharon. Kelly Sue did an ok job, especially in the dialogues, but the story itself wasn´t interesting enough. The biggest disapointment was Tocchini´s art, because he changed his style so drasticaly, now he only pencils like rough brushes, the character´s faces aren´t detailed enough, the lines in the characters often changes, there´s not even a flark of face expression, it wasn´t completely bad, but far from his best - and he has potential, he is a gifted artist, he´s just walking the wrong path, that´s all. Mounts´colors were great. Do not pick this up, this is just a fake because of all Captain America´s publicity and upcoming movie. I do not recommend this one shot.
