    Madcap returns and Nomad must stop him in the wildest action-packed adventure this side of Yancy Street! Plus: the shocking truth about Nomad revealed!

    Nomad tracks Madcap to his home and befriends him. Nomad learns Madcap's tragic story. Nomad and Madcap battle again with Captain America watching in the shadows. Nomad is able to capture Madcap and this success convinces him that maybe it is time for him to go his own way as a crime fighter instead of being Captain America's sidekick.

    During this issue, the Cobra is freed from Rikers Island by Sidewinder, Princess Python is also called by Death Adder and Constrictor is recruited by Anaconda in a bar. This is the start of the Serpent Society.

    This isn't my favorite issue, but it isn't without its merits. Coffee has not saturated my Saturday morning, so I am lazily just laying this down as bullet points:*Jarvis, the Avengers' frumpy manservant, reveals Captain America's favorite post-workout food. Cap's delight and glee when Jarvis presents him with this dish made me think of Sid in Disney-Pixar's Toy Story reacting to his mom calling up the stairs, "Your Pop Tarts are ready!"
