Trapped in Dimension Z 0

Captain America has became one of my favourite characters over the last few years, mainly due to Ed Brubaker's run. I am however happy that someone as talented as Rick Remender has taken over from him. Star Wars And Captain America Make A Good Mix. 0

Yup, form the dark themes, the tragic flashbacks and caps new friend, we can clearly see that this book has definitely Remender's mark on it. i'll admit i was kind of skeptical about the whole extra dimensional themes, especially since we haven't seen cap involved something like this before, but damn, one of Rick Remender strong suits are undoubtedly introducing new and exciting elements to the book. Remender going in an interesting direction 0

The story starts of one year after the last issue ended. I neat trick which makes the relationship between Cap and Ian a bit believable. They have been surviving in dimension z together and Cap mentions repercussions of the experiments Zola performed on him.   After that intro the story really takes of into an actionfilled chase scene where Captain America is fighting of some rather Kirbyesque creations which are trying to capture Cap and Ian and bring them to Zola.
