    A Captain in Character

This story is called "OUT OF TIME" part 1and the cover communicates whats inside the issue with dramatic effect and the inside doesn't disappoint for a second. Red Skull S.H.I.E.L.D. and our hero Captain America. I read this issue fairly quickly so i read it again before writing this review. I have to say from the start that Steve Epting's art with the help of colorist Frank D'Armata gives us a film noir feel which lends itself perfectly to whats going on here in Ed Brubaker's writing which is well paced. Not to say that issue one is boring its not. As it gives us action ,depth of character and sets up a plot that will compel you to read on and leave you asking questions. Brubaker creates his CAP story with suspense, political intrigue and leaves the issue with an amazing cliffhanger. I'm impressed with how close to home danger really is for Steve Rogers/Captain America and other characters as well.
