Cannonball is a mutant with the ability to propel himself through the air like a human rocket. Over the years, Sam has grown from a New Mutant, to the leader of the original X-Force, to a full-fledged X-Man. He currently teaches at the Jean Grey School and is an Avenger.
His character always appealed to me, very charming guy, but his costume's never seemed right. It seemed to me that in the case of a character whose legs frequently vanish/change from/in the readers view, that the bottom half of the costume should have some sort of difference, likely I personally would make it very neutral and denounced from the top half.
I hate the cheap-arse X-Men School Uniform knock-off yellow & black. The New Mutants were promised real uniforms soon after this new series started and it never happened. Lame.
