I can't say that I've read anything that she's appeared in previously to Superboy (to the point that I didn't even know it was her until I saw her credited in the issue). So is she anything like her old version, other than the red hair, that is?
Caitlin Fairchild
Character » Caitlin Fairchild appears in 436 issues.
Fairchild was the unofficial leader of the popular Wildstorm super-team known as Gen¹³. The team's smartest and strongest member, she was also the half-sister of her teammate Freefall. Fairchild has recently been incorporated into the mainstream DC Universe.
Does She Bear Any Resemblance to the Previous Version?

right now it appears as though she's pretty much the same...though she was never able to turn her powers on and off before
despite the fan service of the original series it remains as one of my all time favorite series...you should really check it out if you get the chance...also there was another reboot to the Gen 13 series before the New 52 which was written by Gail Simone which was another great series with a little bit less fan service
@danhimself: Damn you DC for ending wildstorm, So many great stories and people, Gen 13 and Wildcats were my favorites

Fairchild in the Ravagers!
She's a little to muscular on that cover.
i always liked it when artists drew her less muscley....yeah she's superstrong but its a superpower she doesn't have to be ripped huge
She certainly looks different, in the old series, she would get taller and have bigger boobs. Alot like She Hulk.
