A heroic warrior living in a small village of undomitable Gauls, who "still and always" continue to defy Julius Caesar during the Gallic Wars, thanks to their druid and his magic invincibility potion.
Justforkix is a teenaged nephew of Vitalstatistix from Lutetia (Paris). He is sent to Asterix's village to be toughened up. He brings Lutetia culture with him, including 1st century BC version of "Rock and Roll". He truly enjoys Cacofonix's singing and thinks the bard could have a career away from the village. Justforkix is easily intimidated and is almost scared out of his wits by a Norse invasion.
Orinjade is princess of a kingdom in India, situated in the valley of the River Ganges. Her kingdom was threatened by an extended drought. Hoodunnit, the Grand Vizier, orchestrated a plot to sacrifice her to the Gods to bring rain. Actually his intention was eliminating the only heiress standing between him and the throne. Orinjade instead send Watziznehm the fakir to colllect Cacofix, widely reputed through Europe and Asia as able to bring rain simply with the sound of his voice.

Pepe is the son of Huevos Y Bacon, an Iberian chieftain. He is skilled slinger but was overpowered while trying to stop Julius Caesar from passing through his villages' territory. He was taken to Gaul and there rescued by the Gauls. His life in Asterix's village had him forming close friendships with Dogmatix and Cacofonix, the latter because Pepe actually enjoyed the sound of his voice. He was returned to his parents by Asterix and Obelix.
