Okay, Firstly, I don't want to come off as a fan of either, because I'm not really. I find them interesting intermittently but not constantly. 
 
The big thing I wanted to ask was - Did I imagine it or was there a hint of romance between the two? Or am I getting them confused with Bishop? This has been known to happen. Both Time travelling almost bald guys. (Though, I feel Bishop, is about 10% Cooler than Cable)

  Cable's dead right?  If so, then any chance of romance becomes null and void.

Oh yeah, I know he's dead, but it's more of a "was there" rather than a "will there". I'm just not sure if I am remembering this correctly.

I remember they worked together waaaay back in Cable's first on-going.  She had to use her lightning to restart his heart.  But that was around the time he was still an item with Domino.

I think there was something in a Storm limited series, I have to check it out to be sure.
