Here we are again with another Messiah War issue. And I have to admit, this one isn't half bad. They're still using Olivetti was an artist, which is like reading paintings, but they're beautiful paintings. The story has reached the second to last chapter and the cliffhanger leaves me wondering how it will all end, if not where (in time) it will end.

We start with Stryfe kicking some serious butt to get his hands on Hope Summers, a story that goes as far as Stryfe repeatedly alluding to Hope's powers with no actual idea of what she can do! And I'm starting to get annoyed by that, not that it's the writer's fault. Domino, X-23, Porter and Deadpool stumble upon the "thing" that is stopping time travel for our heroes and threatens their ability to go home, but the choice to actually stop that "thing" is a little more hard for some than others.

Hope runs, Stryfe chases. Wolverine attacks with his claws and Cable fights Bishop when he's not watching out for Logan. Angel faces the results of his "proof of humanity" as Apocalypse is "reborn". And Deadpool talks about the terms of his severance package. Oh, and the issue ends with a ticking clock reaching 00:01.

So, the story is winding down, the art is still wondeful but boring for me and I only hope this all ends pretty well. Your call, but I picked it up.
