C-3PO & R2-D2 Must Stop Cad Bane's "Evil Plans"

Get ready for C-3PO and R2-D2 to take the center stage in the next all-new episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, premiering Friday November 5 on Cartoon Network at 9:00 p.m ET/PT. In "Evil Plans," C-3PO is abducted by the evil bounty hunter, Cad Bane while on a routine shopping trip. Soon, Threepio's astromech counterpart, R2-D2, also becomes a pawn in Bane's plan to free Ziro the Hutt from a heavily guarded prison in the heart of the Republic. The poor droids are once again integral in events that threaten to unravel the future of the galaxy.

Reprising his role from all six live-action Star Wars films, Anthony Daniels once again returns to provide the voice of the prim and proper protocol droid.

“Threepio’s whole life is focused on how to avoid conflict, and the basic premise is that he’s always out of place. But he doesn’t have to be the fall guy all the time. For once, we see him functioning as he was made, according to his programming. It’s a more domesticated storyline, without the shoot-em-up aspects of the Saga. His abilities are cerebral, not physical – and he finally gets to use his expertise in protocol and etiquette. In a way, he’s more relaxed than we’ve ever seen him. But of course nothing in party-planning ever goes exactly as planned.”

Check out this clip featuring Threepio trying to withstand Cad Bane's questioning techniques.

@Precise: I was surprised and pleased to see Quinlan Vos. It's about time he makes an appearance outside of comics.

I always wanted to get into the animated clone wars but never knew what order to watch them. is it the micro episodes then the movie and then this newer clone wars series or can anyone else help me out with the order? or do they not really connect with each other except for the fact that they happen to take place during the clone wars?

@mavericksfan41: The micro episodes (cartoon) takes place after this and right before Episode III. So you can watch the Clone Wars movie and then this series.
