On Friday October 2, 2009, Pixar is releasing Toy Story and Toy Story 2 as a double feature.  It will be in 3-D this time and will only play for two weeks.  I know some people aren't too keen on the flux of 3-D movies but how often do we have double features these days?  There aren't many in my area.  I don't really mind the 3-D.  It doesn't give me a headache.  Maybe I just have an advanced cerebrum that can process it?

Either way, I can't wait to see both these movies in theaters once again.  Who's with me?  Well...not physically with me.  I will definitely be catching this sometime during the two weeks.  Check out the TV spot for the double feature:

A double feature is a nice angle. That alone will probably get a lot of people in. Though I imagine it would be hard to keep kids' attention for that long. There is a reason why most child's movies are ninety minutes long.

@xerox-kitty: Maybe they'll bring it over.  It's only playing for two weeks here.  You'd think if they're going to take the time and money to convert them to 3-D, they'd want to get their money's worth out of them.

Hm.. I watched 'Up' in 3D but to be honest, there were a few parts that looked really good in 3D. But for the most part it had no added value (to me).
