Samurai Vs Vampires
As a fan of samurai Heroes and Villains Entertainment and Top Cow brings us into that world of the samurai which in one word I describe is a wonder . A wonder which explores just that with not just samurai but also the darkness of vampires. In Bushido #1 - (of 5) writer Rob Levin takes us readers into the Edo Period of Japan, but with a twist if I may say. Along with Jessada Sutthi spectacular artwork,we the readers enter Kichiro a young man not born of Japan but more or less a son of Japan none the less.
In the first issue alone we explore the very character of Kichiro from his teachings of Bushido his love for his adopted father and brother,as well as the woman he loves but can have. Mr. Sutthi artwork explains Mr. Levin writing in such splendor it drives the story. The drama pays off well once the deadly foes enter, through this first issue even the cliffhanger ending makes you crave whats to follow for the main character ,Kichiro. I myself recommend this 5 part series to much delight.
