History
Burn was an alias used by several thugs who were given confiscated weapons by the
Penguin, in return for helping him keep the advantage over the criminal underworld. There were multiple Burns, as many were killed during the gang war. He joined the group the
New Rogues. At one point,
Nightwing posed as Burn, and was badly injured. He was abandoned by the rest of the New Rogues.
Yet another Burn joined the New Rogues when they were part of
Libra's Secret Society of Super-Villains. The New Rogues captured
Captain Cold's father, hoping to force the
Rogues into compliance. Instead, the Rogues easily killed the New Rogues, making an example of them.
Burn was killed when
Heat Wave melted his armor, and then burned him to death.
