Brian K. Vaughan has taken the scripting for BtVS for Joss Whedon. I actually preferred less "buffyspeak" which I find easier to hear on the show then to read in the comics, not to mention that the gang is supposed to be maturing. Joss usually uses way too much of it practically requiring an adult-to-modern-teen decoder ring.

The Xander crush on Buffy is yet again hinted at. Isn't that getting old? Their entire part could have been left out of the episode unless it actually some kind of bearing on the future episodes.

It is all about Faith which is kind of refreshing. Many people find the bad girl/guy more interesting anyway. Faith's commitment to the "good guys" side is an accomplishment for her. We know her talents are easily converted to evil if she allowed it to happen.

I was particularly happy to see more of Giles. I've missed that bugger!
