Bucky has done a lot of good ever since snapping out of the mind control and becoming Captain America, but IMO he hasn't had his chance to shine and save the entire world, do you think he'll have his chance before Steve picks up the mantle again?

I think he'll need to at some point to be fully embraced as Cap'. Can imagine a cross-over-ending-save (ala Norman Oz in Secret Invasion).

Off the top of my head, Bucky's saved the world at least three times if I'm rememebering right, he helped save teh world along with the rest of the heroes during Secret Invasions, helped saved the world with the Avengers during Siege, and teamed up with both the New and Mighty Avengers and saved the world from from Ultron, Red Skull, and from all of reality collapsing in the Avengers/Invaders 12-issues miniseries.
