To be honest im a huge fan of progression so im fine with Bucky as cap. :P

I like Steve doing his own thing. It would be cool if he had a codename or something though. It's cool that right now his super power is his ultimate leadership skills. That's not something you see respected a lot in comics.
 
I got to be honest though, I wish it was Frank Castle that became Cap. I mean Winter Soldier and The Punisher are on about equally, morally dubious grounds anyway, right?

I like Steve better, but Bucky fits more than anyone else could.

I think Bucky Cap is great - I'm really digging the Captain America stories right now.  I'd be disappointed if Steve returned from the "dead" and just jumped up and acted as if nothing had happened.  And with the Winter Soldier stuff just about to be unearthed to the American public Bucky Cap is more exciting then ever.  Will Steve become cap again?  Undoubtedly.  But I'm enjoying the Bucky Cap ride for now (waaayy better then John Walker).

please, leave Bucky as Cap for as long as possible. Im enjoying it and im enjoying Steve as he is now. And i never thought about Steve comic back as Cap for the time the movies out. lol.

Steve. In my view Bucky is still dead and I don't buy or dig the recon story line. Some of the crazy stuff Marvel has done recently is just lazy.  Another prime example is the whole Gwen Stacy/Green Goblin thing. They took one of the pivotal moments in Marvel history and took a big fat dump on it.

Bucky deserves to carry the shield. I'd be happy if he were Cap for years to come. He's doing a good job.  
 
This doesn't mean I wouldn't be open to Steve returning to the star spangled tights though ;)

If they take the mantle away from Bucky they might as well kill him because he's worthless without it.I'm sick and tired of companies making all of these sidekicks and "xerox's" and then just throwing them down the drain.If you don't plan on doing anything with the character than just kill them.With that said I like Bucky as Captain America.It doesn't matter if he will never be as good as Steve.Not that he very well couldn't be. The sidekick taking the mantle is something that needs to happen to alot more heroes.Being someone who has been reading comics for over a decade, the same old characters get boring.I'm glad Steve is back I always liked him as a character but now he needs to play the background like Nick Fury and give it a rest.

Honestly, I'd prefer Steve taking the Captain America identity back. Not that Bucky is a poor choice, he's really come into his own as Cap, but because he made a better Winter Soldier. As Bucky's point out, he's a soldier, he's trained to kill. How cool would it be to see Winter Soldier on the Secret Avengers team? I say put Steve back in the role he was made for, and let Bucky get down and dirty.

" BENDIS is writing Bucky like an idiot.  Like some dumb jock basically, not the hard boiled espionage agent that Brubaker has developed him into.  Which i don't get at all, and as much as a love JR JR's art, I will def drop "Avengers" if that characterization continues to be so OFF.    Ok maybe I'm being a Whiney comic book geek, but I have really dug Brubaker's Cap stuff (Bucky Cap).  And its really REALLY distracting when Bendis writes a scene where some 3rd rate character like Maria Hill condescends to Bucky, REALLY really, Bucky doesn't read the brief files given to him?  REALLY?  That sorta moment was SOOOO out of character after the whole Rebirth/Search for Cap stuff.  WEAK!  END rant.
