@war_killer: You're right about that, & I'm really glad Guardians was successful, but I had a feeling it would be. Cant wait to see where the MCU goes from here.

On another note, I noticed the gun Bucky's holding in the cover looks a lot like Fury's signature gun. Do you think it is Fury's gun, or more like the gun Bucky used when he was Cap? I thought maybe if it was Fury's gun, it would go in line with the whole past-present imagery going on in the image, showing Bucky taking up Fury's role & responsibilities as "The Man in the Wall".

@winter_kills: The gun looks more like the one Bucky used during his time as Cap. Which I believe was actually a gun used by S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, or at least high ranking agents like Fury. Not sure if it's the same gun, but it does look similar.

I'm honestly just guessing at this point...could very well be some new high-tech gun that Fury used during his time as The Man in the Wall.

@war_killer: awesome, Orson Randall is back for another comic that's great too!

The 80s rock covers are kinda weirding me out, maybe they'll grow in me.

I'm glad he's using his SHIELD pistol also. I hope they elaborate more on it.

@thexx: the Iron fist series with Matt fraction introduces him. And then they extend his stories in one shots. After that, they tell you more about him in the relaunch of Defenders when Danny was on the team.

Those are all his appearances from my knowledge.

@war_killer: Oh man, this is FREAKIN' AWESOME!! & just in time for my b-day(Nov.!) Bucky going to Asgard this quick is freakin' amazing; I can't wait to see what secrets he uncovers beneath the golden halls, & the concept of an Asgardian "bullet" & who would shoot Buck with it is very interesting. I also want to know more about the Frozen Wolves of Niffleheim, pretty awesome & fearsome name. Love both covers, esp. the one with the runes. Does anyone else think that the Loki in the 1st cover looks like the future Loki, not present-day Loki? (hope I'm not spoiling anything for people who haven't read Loki: Agent of Asgard.)

And this is the 1st time in awhile I've gotten excited about All-New Invaders. Know why? 2 words: ORSON RANDALL. Love seeing the master of gun-fu again(HUGE Immortal IF fan), & art by P. Craig Russell? Might be the best issue of the series for me.

Thor stuff going on aside, Oct. & Nov. are gonna be great reading months!

I like the art, not sure about the design of the aliens though...I just hope this series isn't as whacky as Kot's Secret Avengers.

Also, did anyone else notice that Bucky has TWO stars on his shoulders, instead of just the one star on his bionic arm?

True... Not sure if I like it that way, though.

If he was back on Earth it would make a little more sense, giving that he's supposed to be "dead" to the public and the arm is kind of a giveaway. But out in space...I don't really see the need to hide it. Then again, I'm not totally against Bucky having a new look either.

@war_killer: It's not about the look. His bionic arm is really recognizable, like wings are for Falcon and shield for Cap. They don't necessarily have to hide it even on Earth, I'd say. Since he's this super-secret-spy and all, I doubt anyone would be able to see him, recognize him, and live at the same time. We all know what Buck's capable of. And, come on, it's comics reality. It's not possible that someone can protect their identity wearing just a domino mask, for example, and yet they do so in comics. So I don't quite see how Bucky would have to hide his bionic arm. He's not the only one out there who has ever had bionic arm.

Good points. I also like your point about the domino mask. In the past I've had my issues with the mask, but as you pointed out, it's a comic book and sometimes you just have to accept it as such. Really, and this goes for other characters like Nightwing and the Robins, the domino mask is a lot like Clark Kent's glasses, as realistically they wouldn't hide a person's identity at all, but because it's a comic book you kinda have to accept it, even if it's not "realistic."

Personally I wouldn't mind seeing them try to adapt the domino mask on the big screen. Some might say it looks cheesy or stupid, but having seen Black Canary wear one on Arrow, I believe it could actually work on the big screen as well.

The only thing I dislike is the long hair. I get that people are trying to draw him more like his movie-version, but Bucky hasn't had the long-hair since literally his return in the Captain America: The Winter Soldier storyline back in 2005. xD

Other than that, Epting doesn't disappoint, as usual.

    @slimj87d: @jonny_anonymous: @winter_kills:

Also, found this article where the directors from Cap: TWS talk a little about what we can expect in Captain America 3:

Captain America 3 Director talks Winter Soldier

Thankfully the movie appears to be, in some form or another, a further continuation from where Cap left off at the end of TWS. Obviously Avengers: Age of Ultron will have taken place, but it appears that Cap will still be searching for Bucky in the third movie.

I'm also glad to hear that the movie will focus on Bucky dealing with his past as the Winter Soldier, apparently having him come into conflict with himself over his actions and if Steve will ever accept him after everything he's done.

There's also hint of Steve possibly passing the mantle of Captain America on to someone new, with Cap 3 being an "ending" of shorts for Steve's story. With how much focus the directors are putting on Bucky, I'm hoping this will lead to Bucky becoming Cap in the movieverse at some point, even becoming an Avenger.

@war_killer: the domino mask can work if it has function such as a HUD that maps and routes information to Bucky.

Love Epping drawing Bucky again with the SHIELD pistol.

    -___-

I would love to have the Winter Soldier one, even though all of them look awesome, even the basic Steve Rogers one. But sadly, I cannot afford any of them. :(

Though I would like to mention that the stealth suit has quickly become my favorite Captain America suit. It's got this nice modern covert feel to it, yet still retaining the whole "Captain America" look as well. I actually wish they'd just kept it and used it for his suit in Avengers: Age of Ultron as well as in the comics.

True, the one in Age of Ultron appears to be a mixture of both his stealth suit and WWII suit.

Though on a side note, what would you think of Bucky adopting a suit similar to the stealth suit? Minus the helmet of course.

@war_killer: I wouldn't mind, he needs a more realistic look. I don't think anyone dresses the way the WS does Lol.

I really don't mind the look, I just feel he needs something that reflects his past both as Steve's partner and his time as Captain America, yet still retaining that "stealth" look he has as Winter Soldier. Personally I feel the stealth suit, or at least a variation of it, would fit that bill pretty nicely.

Plus it would be a shame to let a cool suit like that go to waste.

@war_killer: I'm just wondering what his Cap suit would look like if it were to happen. It'd be cool to see the black instead of blue.
