Bubbles

Origin

Bubbles was created by Professor Utonium, a scientist striving to create the perfect little girl. He used the traditional ingredients: sugar, spice and everything nice. But, thanks to Mojo Jojo - then a normal monkey belonging to the professor, and simply named Jojo - he accidentally added an extra ingredient: Chemical X. As a result Bubbles and her sisters, Blossom and Buttercup, were created with superpowers. The accident also created Mojo Jojo.

Character Evolution

Bubbles is the bubbliest and the most sensitive one of the Powerpuff Girls and is known as the "baby". She was named Bubbles by Professor Utonium because of her bubbly nature. Bubbles can be a crybaby and is often picked on by the more tomboyish Powerpuff Girl, Buttercup. She seems to be the closest to the Professor, who has a tendency to take it easy on her when training her for combat and keeping the training simulation at level 2 while her sisters train at level 9.

She loves to draw with her crayons and chalk. Though Bubbles seems like the most soft-hearted and easily pushed around, she has proved herself to be very tough - especially when her sisters and father are in danger.

Bubbles has also operated under the alias "Harmony Bunny".

In the cartoon on Cartoon Network, Bubbles is voiced by voice actress Tara Strong.

Powerpuff Girl Z

In the Japanese version of the Powerpuff Girls, Bubbles is just her Superhero name or to be more accurate "Rolling Bubbles". Her real name is Miyako Gotokuji and is not related to the other members of the Powerpuff Girls. Miyako is the most sought after girl in the school all three girls go to. She always has a locker filled with love letters and little presents. Miyako got her powers after shielding a little girl from one of the rays from chemical Z.

Powers

As the same goes for her sisters, Bubbles was created by an accidental dose of Chemical X. Because of this, Bubbles possesses superhuman strength, speed, stamina, durability, sensory and flight. Also, given that she is the loudest screamer of the three girls, Bubbles possesses the ability to project powerful sonic screams.

Bubbles also possesses the ability of space survivability, x-ray vision, night vision, laser vision (light blue colored), energy projection (light blue colored), fire generation, tornado generation, and thermal resistance.

Abilities

Bubbles is also multilingual. She's able to speak both Spanish, read and speak Japanese, and speak squirrel.
