British comic book artist
Hitch, Bryan (born 1970) it's an acclaimed british comic book artist, co-creator of The Authority (Wildstorm) and The Ultimates 1 and 2 (Marvel). He left college when he was 17 years old to take drawing professionally although his art is self taught it resembles quite much to that of Alan Davis (his first influence), but eventually, he surpassed him.
Bryan Hitch's art was first seen on The Authority doing a great job with Warren Ellis as the writer, you could catch lots of widescreen panels and close-ups, revealing the top-notch drawing skills. Everything's changed when the first issue of The Ultimates arrived, his art was on another whole new level, his design was nothing but flawless... Maybe that's the reason why it did look like a movie instead of a regular comic book, some fans showed complaints about his "Lateness" to deliver finished work.
He is currently working with Marvel's Fantastic Four.
