Nice picture but I was glad they killed Aquaman, leave him and everyone else dead who was dead before Blackest Night....Bruce Wayne included don't kill me angry mob

Seriously, Aquaman is one of my favorite characters and this news is making me crazy-go-nuts!

I'm a little upset that all these dead heroes are coming back Kara, Hal and Barry didn't bother me but now they are pushing it. I can only hope it's good. That opening line "And out of the darkness there will be light, right?" reminded me of this song.

As long as everyone understands that Aquaman is a solidB-List DCU character - and don't expect him to carry the entire DCU on his shoulders. Yeah, set some adventures under water for variety sake, don't set the bar too high for a guy who can only be out of the water an hour at a time. He doesn't need his own title. That's never worked for long...Give him a storyline in JLA, or Brave and the Bold or someplace...     

Is the hand in the water the one he was missing? Or has that come back too?

Maybe this will improve his cred and make him stop being the laughingstock of the comic book universe. Also, Martian Manhunter come back as well.

All I can say is.....WOW!!!!!

they showed us ALL the Bruce Wayne Returns covers. i'm just going to have to avoid all the Brightest Day reveals. i'd like to have at least some sort of anticipation in my life.

I feel that if I didn't start at Blackest Night or the beginning of Geoffs Green Lantern / Corps run then I missed my chance.   But if this focus on the "Aquaman U" in Brightest Day leads to a new ongoing Aquaman book (Aquaman Rebirth?) down the road, then count me in!!!  ^_^ "

Really awesome art! I'm not a big Aquaman fan, but this looks really... AWESOME! lol The Blackest night stories where alright with me, all the dying and coming back and dying and coming back was a bit too much for me X_x but I'm looking forward to what their going to bring on Brightest day.

Wow! Beautiful image. So glad to see Aquaman back in action. He was what got me intrested in comic books, really glad to see him in a story arc I can't wait for.

Personally I think that Johns is the best writer of this generation. This as all his stuff is gonna be just great.
