Did You Hear Who's Back? 9

Brightest Day is fast approaching the end but that doesn't mean the action is over just yet.The Good From the beginning, Brightest Day has been like a roller coaster ride. We've had some stellar issues along with some slow down in others. Characters have returned from the dead and, almost as quickly, died once more. There has been a lot of different storylines and characters but everything is now headed toward a gigantic conclusion. If you want answers, you'll get answers here. We're starting to...

Why Does DC Think I Know Anything About Him? 8

With Brightest Day nearing its end, the Entity finally gets to the point of all its convoluted scheming, and the character we have been waiting for arrives. This character's identity was spoiled for many people before this issue, but even disregarding that, the big arrival does not really have the impact the story probably wants it to have.I'll do my best not to say who the character is, even though you probably already know. The Entity begins calling together the resurrected in Star City's myste...

Issue #23 of Brightest Day.   The Story: All the pieces are coming together with Deadman talking to Firestrom into giving him the White Lantern.Hawk and Dove comes in to talk and Harkness runs into Star City and meets the dark entity controlled by the Black Lanterns. Also all the heroes we taught dead became different elementals.   The Good: The elemental angle is an interesting idea that can go different places and the jokes are simply cheap.Harkness and his mission has been intriging and it's g...

BRIGHTEST DAY OR BLACKEST NIGHT! 0

Brightest Day is coming to an end and is it a great end or what? ANSWER: GREAT! Brightest Day is in my honest opinion the best event book I've read. So if you're wondering who the Champion and the Dark Avatar is you'll find out in this issue. Geoff Johns is a great writer. We also see how Brightest Day is affecting the rest of the DCU. Also there's a return of an obscure but awsome favorite of mine that narrows it down to just about every obscure character.   Art is amazing I am excited for Ivan...

    Black Skies 0

Hell has broken loose all over Earth and while the heroes are trying to save as many as they can, Boston Brand and the other resurrected by the White Lantern are now in the Forest in Star City, since the White Lantern is explaining to them the threat of the Dark Avatar - I´m a little offended and angry by the fact that there aren´t no explanations whatsover of why this is happening? Why did this force of nature rise? Why the Earth is suffering simultaneous bursts of rage, like volcanos, hurrican...

SummaryOh yeah, they’re the Elements aren’t they! I never noticed that. With the final preparations for the fight against the Dark Avatar almost complete, only one thing remains. Find the chosen one and give them the White Lantern. What I liked· The Element stuff: Okay, that was clever. But, really, it doesn’t mean too much. Nice one though.· This is event ending stuff... I suppose: It’s being done horribly, but I guess we are at least going to get our final showdown, our loose ends tied up and n...
