Brian Michael Bendis is a 5 time Eisner award winning comic writer and sometimes artist. He is most often associated with his Marvel work, but also produced a string of independent comics.
Bendis began his comic book career by writing and doing the art to his independant comics that included Fire, Jinx and A.K.A Goldfish which were originally published for Calliber and then Image.
Now Brian Bendis is known for his recent all Marvel event: House of M. He's also written Powers, Alias, The Pulse, Daredevil The Man Without Fear, Ultimate Team Up, Ultimate fantastic Four and Ultimate X-Men. He now writes Ultimate Spider-Man, The New Avengers, The Mighty Avengers and in the near future he'll write the all Marvel comic event: Secret Invasion.
