Check Out Brian Buccellato's FOSTER ANTHOLOGY On Kickstarter

Posted by G-Man (33818 posts) - - Show Bio

Do you know who Brian Buccellato is? Brian is the co-writer and colorist for THE FLASH. Brian's a great and funny guy who happens to need some help. Actually he needs your help to make some of his dreams come true.

Recently, Brian has released his self-published comic, FOSTER. He's released the first three issues (which are available on his website) along with limited edition con-exclusive editions. The first two issues have been reviewed here so you can see what we thought of those issues. To expand on FOSTER, Brian is looking to release a FOSTER ANTHOLOGY and is going the Kickstarter route to get some help. Check out his plea in his own words.

If you check out his actual Kickstarter page, you can see how you can help. You can give as little as a dollar or check out some of the other rewards depending on how much you can spare and what you want to make Brian do.

FOSTER definitely falls into the "something different" category. It's great to see creators get the chance to tell the stories they want to tell. We all love to see them work on our favorite characters but there is an appeal to creator-owned material as pretty much anything goes.

(And yes, even I put my money where my mouth is. I'm a backer as well).

It's crazy awesome that Brian is doing this, is there anyway to get these issues on digital? I want to check it out.

I feel like I need to make a Kickstarter to provide me with money to support other Kickstarters...I'm still pissed I couldn't afford to donate to that Transmet Art Book at the time and now I'll never get it :(
