In the tale "Through a Glass Darkly" in Savage Sword of Conan issue 77 Tanya the Fox attempts to thwart the future fate of her as yet unconcieved daughter Aryal by ruthlesslessly killing Brandeis who is to be the father of Aryal's killer.
At his wedding she attempts to murder him as he sleeps but cannot bring herself do do so. A scream leads her away from her hapless intended victim and to a scene where two women are drowning. In her decision to save one she allows poor Brandeis wife to drown. Brandeis, overcome with grief, commits suicide.
When Tanya returns to the seer to see if she managed to alter her daughters future she learns that she hasn't and later discovers that Brandeis had impregnated his servant girl who Tanya had saved from drowning.
