Brainwave Jr. is a comic book character that first appeared in All-Star Squadron #24
Henry King Jr. is the son of the 1940's criminal mentalist Brainwave and Merry the Gimmick Girl. Henry would be a founding member of the first Infinity Inc. but eventually went mad due to his powers.
Origin
Henry King Jr. is the son of the Golden Age criminal Brainwave and Merry the Gimmick Girl. Henry would be one of the founding members of Infinity Inc. Henry would help both Infinity Inc and the All-star squadron until his father died. Brainwave pushed all his power into his son and he went made.
Henry wasn't seen again until the Green Lantern storyline Heart of Darkness. Henry was still in the mental hospital. Henry plays with Alan Scott and Kyle Rayner's head before Todd Rice comes to kill him. The Green Lanterns manage to stop him.
Henry King Jr was seen in Black Reign. Henry is no longer a struggling hero and takes on a darker role. He has a group of soldiers shoot each other and even tries to play with Black Adam's mind. Eventually he is shocked and it is showed that Mr. Mind was controlling him.
Henry was last seen helping to bring back Sand from Dreamland. There is little doubt that Henry is the most powerful mentalist on the planet. He was able to telepathically scan the entire planet to find all the Manhunters before his fathers powers were added to his own.
