    Realistic Character Development

This is the first issue of Box Office Poison that really feels like a comic book, rather than an anthology of comic strips. Sherman, Dorothy, Janice, James, Ed, and Ed's cousin Daisy, all go ice skating. Issues between them - especially Sherman and Dorothy - come to a boiling point.

Alex Robinson's art continues to be primitive, but his ability to create realistic characters is good. While Dorothy doesn't seem outright crazy or offensive, the reader (seeing things from Sherman's point of view) begins to see that she has some serious issues, and Jane wasn't just crazy to paint her in such an unflattering light.
