The fifth issue of Box Office Poison is a bit of a turning point, however small, for the series. Namely it is becoming more of an actual series rather than a lot of seemingly one-offs featuring the same recurring cast.

The divide between Dorothy & Sherman and Jane & Stephen seems to be deepening, with Dorothy giving her side of the story to Sherman in this issue.

Also, Ed convinces Mr. Flavor that they should fight for his rights to the 'Nightstalker' character.

Really this series seems soap opera-ey, a bit dated and a bit geographically limited (can most people really relate to those fortunate enough to live in New York?); but then again, the series is titled 'Box Office Poison' for a reason.
