The Word of the Day Is, 'Immaturity'
The Good: I might have to give up trying to review this series. What more can I say about each other other than 'It's hilarious beyond all reason.' ? (Spoiler Alert, this issue is also funny beyond all reason.)
I have no idea who General Glory is, and I don't care. All I know is that he's the only guy more hilarious and pretentious than Booster Gold himself. The man is absolutely nuts. And it's clear. And it's so funny.
Booster once again displays his genius use of time travel to 'cheat.' It's great.
The logic of children. Priceless.
The Bad: I was a little disappointed that the cliffhanger from last issue was resolved in a single page.
I thought Rani toke Goldstar's uniform? I dunno, it might've just been me but I was expecting her to take it or take inspiration and make her own uniform. I was a little let down that she didn't.
In Conclusion: 4.5/5
It doesn't quite have the full oomph of some of the other issues, but hell, it's still laugh out loud funny from begininning to end, and picks up a plot point we nearly forgot from a few issues back. If you're a fan of Booster Gold you don't want to miss this. Or really the past 6 issues either. Griffen and DeMattais are geniuses of comedy, and Batista knows just how to make it all look great. Did I mention that it was an absolute laugh riot?
