Former pro baseball player who decides to turn to crime. Attacks foes (usually Spider-Man) with boomerangs. Similar to Bullseye.
Fred Myers is a native of Australia but moved to America when he was young. As he was growing up he had a keen interest in baseball and so he developed an extraordinary pitching arm. He went in to the minor leagues after high school. A couple years later he made it into the major leagues. Before he finished his rookie year he was suspended for accepting bribes. He was mad and joined a criminal organization, the Secret Empire. They gave him special weapons that went along with his powerful arm. After the Secret Empire crumbled he went on to do freelance assignment notably he has worked for the Kingpin.
Powers
While he has no actual superpowers, Boomerang's accuracy in throwing objects is matched only by characters such as Bullseye, Hawkeye, or Gambit.
Weapons
Boomerang's trademark weapons are, of course, boomerangs. He has "shatterangs" which are explosive, "gasarangs" which emit various types of gas, "razorangs" which are razor-edged, and various other specialized boomerangs. He also has jet-boots that allow him to fly short distances.
