As far as Boom thats great. Shes has always been an interesting character.

I'm really looking at how awesome Colossus looks. ;p

*GROAN* She's on the wrong side of the country in the diet-version of the worst title. At least she's got changed out of the red hooker's dress, but has reverted to her X-Force purple & gold uniform! *facepalm*

I'm very excited to see Tabby again, and with the heavy hitters.

I have to admit , I thought she was gonna leave to side with Wolvie, but I think there still a not so good relationship between those two, after what happen because of Sabretooth, but too see Tabitha getting this special treatment is really cool, I mean she is fighting along side with Cyclops, Emma, Magneto, Namor, Storm, Betsy, Colossus and Magik, its a really good thing to see, but Tabby along with Pixie just need a real good uniform. Plus I hope that Tabitha and Hope get to know each other better, after all the they had the same father figure

To be fair, Magik didn't have a choice because currently she's a prisoner of Utopia for releasing Legion to destroy the Elder Gods but at the same time, putting reality in great risk. Pretty much he's using her for specific purposes.

Storm was about to leave with Wolverine to Westchester but Cyclops had intercepted her because he needed her to be on his team. He said he needed her a lot more than Wolverine's side needs her.

meh....Warren Ellis's Nextwave Boom Boom has guaranteed that I will never like her as a character....seriously everyone has been b!tc#ing about the portrayal of women in comics lately yet everyone loves Boom Boom who has never been portrayed as anything more than a moron valley girl

@pixelized: to be fair I really don't have that much exposure to her character beyond Nextwave but that book has definitely been the most I've read of her in one sitting and there was absolutely nothing about her in that book that made me think that she was a good character

@Dan "moron valley girl"? Nope, nosirree! 1980's Madonna-wannabe? Sure! But only Ellis portrayed her as an air-head, brain-dead Paris Hilton-wannabe. And while it was a step backwards for her character (considering the progression she'd made & retcons made upon her during X-Force) it did bring back the fun... and the silly codename. But this...? Having her in the Utopia books? This just plain sucks.

yay boom boom became a big fan since evolution and happy to see change in costume and happy to see her used and hope to see more of her and not just a cameo character but ah ain't so happy about her decison on choosing cykes

@jubilee042: I somehow wasn't that surprised, but I too did expect her to move with Wolverine, but I don't think those two get really along with each other, besides, Domino and Warpath also stayed in Utopia , I guess thats was another reason for hr to stay, plus I don't think she likes school anyway. But to see her along with the heavy hitters, I do think she took the right decision.

@jubilee042: I think this is a sign that she will, is like Dazzler and Jubilee, they were off panel for so long, that when Marvel decided to bring those two back, they were introduce slowly, most in cameos, but now they are fully back and part of some teams, I think boom Boom is going in the same direction, maybe she will be part of Cyclops team or Psylocke team.

It's just a variation on her old 1990's post-Age of Apocalypse X-Force costume, when Cable introduced matching outfits that were more in-line with the X-Men's traditional Gold & Black. The red dress was over used, but a shop-a-holic like Boom Boom wouldn't dig down to the bottom of her wardrobe to find the threads she wore when she had her "Meltdown".

Moving to Westchester doesn't mean that you have to go to school. Also, she has more friends in New York; Siryn/Banshee, Madrox, Rictor, Shatterstar, Wolfsbane, Iceman, Beast, Cannonball, Husk...

So far she's made one tiny cameo in a training scenario. Expecting someone who has been nothing more than a cross-over cameo for the last couple of years to suddenly appear in the Cyclops-team of former villains is a bit much. More than anything, I wouldn't want her to appear & be belittled by the snobbery of Emma Frost, Namor & Magneto. Possibly she'd fit on Psylocke's team, as she has a connection with Dom, Warpath & Jubilee... but that's a throwing a bone to a starving dog, as Gischler has yet to write a good story in the new Adjectiveless title.

Particularly Peter David, he's so well-versed in characters I can't believe that he made Tabitha so unsympathetic in the X-factor's trek to Utopia", yes that was disappointing. While she does have more friends in X-Factor, it's definitely a side of Tabby that I don't want to see again; the frivilous-will-suck-face-with-anyone-trollop isn't the Madonna Wannabe we fell in-love with. I guess I just long for the day when she becomes a regular in a rostered team book. I guess for now she's too 'act first, think last' to fit in a school situation. So for the time being little snatches of cameo & hope for the best that they don't destroy her personality any more. And would it kill someone to let her go shopping once in a while? She seriously needs some new threads!!

well i understand why she wouldnt go to school shes a chaotic chick. why stay at a school when she can stay at utopia and fight

i really like boom boom i wish she was on wolverines team she is the third character that i liked that is going to scott's team why

As much as I love her, I do think that logic sadly fits... But there has to be a third option for the chaotic & noisy young mutants like her. Why does it have to be Utopia or the Jean Grey School? Why is Laura the only one who can find a life away from Cyclops & Wolverine? :(

Wow, I'm so excited that Boom Boom is back, but Northstar should be in the Street team, would make more sense than Lifeguard. Should be Dazzler, Northstar and Boom Boom, but well I'm gonna wait and see, also I can' wait to see if Boom Boom gonna have a new uniform.

No power used and trolled by Velocidad. Way to go Marvel. And she also have become Psylocke side kick like in her last appearance in Fear itself. Is it that hard to give her a cool uniform? I got several which I could send to Marvel.
