Bone #1
The Art is simple, and the writing is deceptively easy, with a depth hidden behind the "funny book" humor. The first issue does a very good job of creating a world with incredibly diverse & distinct characters.
This is absolutley wonderful to create a book that understands that in a visual medium, sometimes a silent panel will work as well, as one with a lot of word balloons. If I could find one flaw in the cloth, it would be that this book is such an easy read, you can be finished with it rather quickly. If that is the only complaint however, than there are no real complaints at all.
