During the one year gap in DC, Amy Allen served as a team mate on the Teen Titans. She underwent the same process as Captain Atom and Major Force which was dubbed "Project Atom." It was later revealed that she was the sought traitor as she threatened to kill Raven and attacked several other members. The titans defeated her & the beating she took caused the metal on her skin to shatter resulting in the loss of her powers. While in jail she was interrogated by Cyborg & Miss Martian, after reading her mind they found out about Titans East. Batgirl & Risk broke into her cell & slit her throat with a batarang.

It is also important to note that unlike Captain Atom and Major Force, the alien alloy that was exploded on to those two, merely covered her. Most believe this makes her weaker and nothing has proven otherwise. As the alloy isn't bonded to her like Captain Atom's is to him.
