Some of his writing credits include backup stories for Aquaman, Atom and Air-Wave in Action Comics. Bob also wrote the mini-series: Superman: the Secret Years, which revolved around Clark Kent attending college and changing his identity from Superboy to Superman.

Bob was known for his monthly DC features: Ask the Answer Man which involved fans asking a variety of questions ranging from the value of comics, to information on characters. He provided crosswords and a variety of word puzzles which were featured in the 100 page spectaculars and giant sized comics during the 1970s. He was also involved in the Daily Planet, which was a monthly feature that was subdivided into weekly issues that appeared from the mid 1970s to the early 1980s. It also featured the humorous "Hembeck" strip by Fred Hembeck, "Ask the Answer Man" as described above, "What's it Worth?" questions on values of various comics, "Direct Currents" a checklist of what comics are being released that month and "DC Profiles" which provided a short biography of comic writers, artists, letterers, colorists and editors.

Bob is married to Laurie Rozakis and they have two children.
