It's not all about powers. There are fans of Ted Kord that want him back. Don't think it's problems with Jamie (I love him), it's just that they miss Ted.

I miss Ted (who had no powers), but I like the new Blue Beetle too.

They could use another guy smarter than him to what they want

It's not because he's a smart guy, DC has plenty of those (Atom, Mr. T, Batman, John Henry etc.). It's because of his character, especially when paired with Booster Gold. There is more to a good character than who's behind they can kick.

I agree with the fact that everyone likes Ted more - because he's been around so much longer...

And... Are you refering to Jaime being the smarter one? Because he actually isn't too bright, he has no idea how to work his suit that well yet. The only difference between him and Ted is that the Beetle likes Jaime more, it gave him an exoskeleton.

No, Ted was a smart guy. He was an inventor and the one who tracked down what Lord and Checkmate were up to. No one took him seriously, so he faced him alone.

I like Jaime, he's a great character, and I love the depth they've seem to given him. I read issue one and was hooked. Ted, I became a fan of his in prelude to infinite crisis, unknowing that it ended with his death. I would love for him to be back in the comics. I think he could be brought back as the q to Jamies 007.

Jaime IS awesome and he's learning a lot already.But whenever he talkes to the scarab out loud,people think he's talking to himself(like Supergirl and Wonder girl-Blue Beetle #18)
