    Blue Beetle and the Teen Titans must battle Ted Kord's transformed friend.

    The Teen Titans and Blue Beetle have been in a battle with Mento and the Hybrid for three issues know and noting has been resolved. The friend (Curt Calhoun) Blue Beetle was trying to save has turned into Prometheus and is under Mento's control.

    **Spoiler Alert**

    Beetle and the Teen Titans try to stop Mento and his mind controlled minions, but through a series of retreats the Hybrid gets away and Beetle if let with wondering how he is going to save Curt and how he is going to explain it to Curt's family and friends. The Titans reassure him that they will not give up.
