    Verdict - 4.4

    - I'm jumping into the series a little late and have only read the issues following the Green Lantern: New Guardians #9 - Beyond Hope crossover. I enjoyed this issue and the cover is a nice image of Khaji-Kai and Blue Beetle on the attack. This issue takes the Blue Beetle to Scarabworld with Khaji-Kai. Khaji wants to destroy the planet to prevent future Reach soldiers. Jaime Reyes is shocked to discover this isn't the first world Khaji has destroyed and has second thoughts about the mission. The two are capable of destroying the planet but Khaji gets left behind. The secondary story is of Blue Beetle's original Scarab host wanting to take it back. When Jaime commands Khaji Da (his scarab) to defend him, it responds that it can't hurt itself. We see the original host clinging to the escape vessel in the final scenes. As the series winds down it will be entertaining to see how this plays out.
