A Meatgrinder of Epic Proportions (Spoilers!)

As if Bloodstrike didn't have enough trouble, the team is ordered to take down Supreme (Pre-Alan Moore), the most powerful man on Earth. Can they survive his massive onslaught? No.

    Pros:

    No Caption Provided

-Lots of Action: For a 20-page comic, it's pretty a exciting issue. We get the big Deadlock/Cabbot fight teased in the previous issue, and the meat of the issue is pretty intense, especially since Bloodstrike goes up against Supreme, the most powerful "hero" in the Image Universe at the time.

-Lots of BLOOD: Speaking of the "meat", that's pretty much the motif of this issue. Deadlock and Cabbot sure don't pull their punches (Quite literally in Cabbot's case!) when it comes to the bloody hell they unleash upon each other, but when Supreme is on the scene, he sure delivers the goods. As the battle royal turns into a royal curb-stomp, the take-downs inflicted are quite wince-inducing, especially since Cabbot gets the worst of it. If you really like this kind of super-violent action, you're in for a treat.

-Story: A big plot point in the series, it's a nice and suspenseful chapter in the series and setup for the next issue. Individually as an issue, the pacing is delivered nicely, transitioning from one incident to the next and setting up interesting plot threads.

    Cons:

-Lots of Blood: If you're not into massive blood and gore, I wouldn't suggest it.

-Context Required: Quite a bit of references to the previous issue are made, so if you haven't picked up the previous issue, chances are you might not understand the characters.
