Question of the day: What day of the week do you get your new comics?

I'm up in time to walk or bike over as the store opens on Wednesday. I have a pull list, so I don't know what I'm so worried is going to happen. Speaking of which, I should get going.

My job does not allow me to get to the shop very often during the week so I usually go on saturday morning. I HATE the drive home, many times i will read at stoplights. I cant wait for this saturday

Sometimes when I go to the comic book store on Wednsday they are still unpacking so on Thursday I can get it for sure!

im an impacient person, so i always buy them as soon as i possibly can, hell, the last three times i went (including today) they weren't even unpacked yet, and the last two times i actually beat the shipment by like, an hour

Although I'd love it to be every Wednesday (I'm usually awake all night on Tuesday thinking about the new comics) I don't really have a vehicle of my own (benefit of being a teenager -____-) but I try and steal a trip here and there as my addiction requires.

Is, and always will be... Thursday. It's not my fault that comics aren't shipped over to the UK till a day later. Forbidden Planet used to pay extra to fly them over here a day earlier, but that didn't last long as it cost them too much just for the sake fo 24 little hours. And that didn't effect me as I didn't shop there, back then.
I sometimes fly by at a lunch time, but then I have unread comics sat on my desk at work taunting me. They sit in the bag teasing me with their unread stories, beautiful art and crisp unturned pages. But I don't want to taint my comic reading experience by reading them at work.... or on the bus journey home!
Sometimes I have to wait till after work, and if something is really hot (like the start of the Messiah War was) then I might be lucky enough to grab the last issue on the shelf. Certainly no choice of 50/50 variant covers. But what the hell, it's about the story, not the cover!
So I wait to get home on a Thurday, put my feet up in the comfort of my own home and enjoy my new comics! I probably shouldn't log on to CV till Thursday night. Just to avoid any accidental spoilers. But then that's nearly two days of not being on CV... that'd just be so boring!

Whenever I can get to the shop to pick them up normally its the day after they come out, and some times its the day they come out, and sometimes i get em for free at the shop i go to.

Whereas I am enthusiastic about getting new comic issues, I generally show up on a Monday or a Saturday. While I'm thinking about it, I'll plug my two stores also: Rubelmizer and Vintage Stock.

I'm lucky enough to have a sort of internship at my local store, and it just so happens that I come by to help on Wednesdays, so I can get my comics on the very day they come out. And I sometimes come back on saturday or sunday to pick up ones I couldn't afford on wednesday.

I usually go on Wednesday to the nearest store. But for the comics that I find out are good after I already went to the store I usually wait a few weeks until Borders gets them and just pick them up during my lunch break.

I usually get all of my comics on a Friday at the end of the month from mailordercomics.com. They do a fantastic job of packaging and the minimum discount is 38% (30% for IDW). Some have up to 50% or 75%. I do not work for them, but found them when my comic shop went under. It is a pain to wait till the end of the month, but it is cheaper.

I get comics on Wednesdays -- if it's viable. Plus, with the "day of" reviews up in this piece, it's a necessity because I visit the Vine daily. But if I can't, I can't, no big deal...unless it's Uncanny week(last), or Supes WoNK week(this).

My local comic book shop is The Cave. The Cave gets their new books in at 2:30 P.M. every Wednesday. I roll by a bit after three so all the comics are sorted out already.

well there isn't a comic book store where i live sooooooooo
in order to get the comics i want i have a pull list at the nearest comic book store(bout an hour away)
then on fridays i go get them, after class
