The story of Blizzard begin and ends with the name Stark. Employed by Stark Industries, Dr Gregor Shapanka became obsessed with his own mortality and attempted to steal and sell Stark transistor technology in order to fund research into longetivity. After being sacked for his misdemeanours, Shapanka developed a suit capable of generating immense cold. Using it to perform acts of villiany, he came to be known as Jack Frost or Blizzard and became nemisis to Iron Man, battling him time and time again. Shapanka's life came to an end when he was killed by Amo Stark, an Iron Man from the year 2020 who travelled back in time to retrieve Shapanka's retina patterns to disarm a bomb. Shapanka's successor as Blizzard was Donny Gill, an employer of Justin Hammer. having employed the original Blizzard to undertake varous questionable schemes in the past it is likely that it was Hammer who provided Gill with his Blizzard suit. His work for Hammer was to lead to his imprisonment, but when released Iron Man persuaded Gill to leave Hammer's employ and Tony Stark took him under his wing.

Powers

Gloves on Blizzard's battlesuit could project intense cold, generate freezing mist, mini-blizzards of snow, sleet, and darts of ice that can pierce metal; he could freeze people by coveringf them in frost; escaped capture by creating an ice slide. He has no superhuman powers.

In other media

Donnie Gill appears in the episode of "Iron Man: Armored Adventures" as Blizzard. One side of his face is disformed thanks to Obadiah Stane. He wears a suit a bit like Iron Man's that allows him to freeze things. Iron Man and Gill team up to get gadgets so that Gill can get his revenge on Stane, but it turns out that he wants the gadgets to build a weapon. At the end of the episode "Cold War" he is cryogenically frozen. He is going to appear in the upcoming episode, "Best Served Cold".
