Is it just me.
Or does anyone enjoy the Wesley Snipes Movies alot more than the Comics.
Blade
Character » Blade appears in 744 issues.
A human-vampire hybrid with all the strengths but none of the weaknesses of a traditional vampire, Blade has dedicated his life to destroying the occult world of vampires and all who associate with them.
Does anyone like the Blade movies more than the Comics?
It really is a shame that a movie made about a little known character in the marvel universe does extremely well and has two sequels made that did well and kicked off the whole marvel movie madness hasn't gotten any love in the comics at all. Blade is a great character however marvel really doesn't know what the hell to do with him in comics which is pathetic considering how well the movies did and when people talk about bad ass vampire killers van helsing or buffy aren't the characters people think of first they think of blade. So to answer the question movie Blade is a hell of a lot better than comic book blade since the people who made those films knew what they were doing were as marvel seems absolutely clueless.
@Kallarkz said:After seeing the Blade movies i was going to purchase their comics just a bit ago.one comic cover made you judge an entire series? Then i saw on one of the covers that they made one of Blades hands into a gun...and put the comics down and never looked back
@Caligula said:The series was cancelled cause the art really put a lot of people off, plus Marvel didn't really build the series up, they kind of just threw it out there.@Kallarkz said:After seeing the Blade movies i was going to purchase their comics just a bit ago.one comic cover made you judge an entire series? Then i saw on one of the covers that they made one of Blades hands into a gun...and put the comics down and never looked backa horrible looking idea of a 12 issue series that was cut short?Yes it did.

hahaha no one mentions that balde had to be retconed after the movies because the moveis improved his power set blade was trash before the movies just a guest spot in tomb of dracula and the midnight sons he got his no one has gotten movie blade right on paper thats why he aint doin so good.Blade just need a real penciler inker and writer to give it a good go.The 12 issue run didnt have the worst art i have seen but i wasnt great the writting was decent atleast up to issue 8 that all my brother has.but blade blew up cuz the movie not the other way around and i think thats why his movies did so good no one knew what to expect they didnt have source materials to look at so it was just a badass vamp flick but blade and other are over due they need thier time to shine
