    I read Blackest Night but at the time I wasnt reading Green Lantern. I began with issue #53, first one after Blackest Night and first in Brightest Day. Would you say its still worth picking up the trade for Green Lantern right now?

    IMO, yes but I am of the few on this site who thinks so. Not a lot of people like Hal. But, then again, The Blackest Night/ Brightest Day series are more about the other "lead" Spectrum Lanterns more so than Hal.

    @GreenLantern555: im currently loving Green Lantern and I love Hal. i really enjoy reading him. so what makes Green Lantern so important as part of Blackest Night i mean.

    Yes, I think it would be good to pick up still. I did the same thing from an earlier event and i have now picked up everything since Hal's return from Spectre to a GL. All in All its a good read and is worth getting. GL and GLc trades

    Green Lantern as a series is overall quite excellent, though I prefer GLC.  I guess it all doesn't matter as much now though with the new 52
