Into liberation
The third and final part of this miniseries follows the action in Blackest Night #6, as it might not make as much sense to read straight through (in fact of the Blackest Night tie-in miniseries, this one has the least continuity as a series unto itself.) Diana comes to understand what has happened to her as Carol briefly tells what has transpired and then Diana heads off seeking to aid in whatever way she can. She first comes across a horde of Black Lanterns, but it is not long until Hera, still enraged by her battle against Diana, and now made worse by a red power ring, decides on some retribution. This is the second issue in a row with a Diana/Hera battle, and this one plays out less dramatically, but even as the backbone of this issue, the story here still held together better than the previous issue as it throws the action back into the heat of Blackest Night.
