    Faith to be

Not really directly associated thus far with the unfolding events of Blackest Night, this issue looks at two of the major players involved, Saint Walker from the Blue Corps and Mongul from the Yellow/Sinestro Corps.  The issue's sort of serve as background look at the characters but they do so in an interesting manner, establishing them in their respective frames to the corps to which they belong.  The one for Saint Walker was a lot stronger as it touches on concepts of faith.  It is sort of a biased viewpoint, because this represents many elements of how I regard faith personally, as many people are too dogmatic in their beliefs without understanding the true meaning of what they believe in.  As such this was an interesting character study of one of the major players in the blues.  The story with Mongul deals with less serious topics, that of power and hereditary rights, but it offered a good second reading as it was not as long as the first story.  A pretty good overall look at these two characters.   There is also a teaser for the indigo tribe, which does not yet reveal much.
