Ok this is the big wrap up issue for the Blackest Night that has been blanketed across the DC Universe for quite some time.  And I must say it is freaking fantastic.  To attack this issue at two points I'll start off with the art.  The art team with Ivan Reis at the helm is great.  There are a lot of big splash pages in this book that require a lot of fine detail.  And the detail is there, you don't feel like your missing out on anything because you see everyone give it their all against Nekron....

The action and plot for the entirety of Blackest Night end here, but much as the series ends with a number of individuals returned from the dead, with their return here so are the series of Green Lantern and Green Lantern Corps headed off in new directions as well.  The plot unfolds here as expected, with such a large company crossover this ends in certain ways to be expected (for instance Nekron is vanquished) but in a lot of ways which are unexpected.  It is really an almost prefect ending to ...

Darkest Night Setting 0

I've had some time to think back and try to figure out how I felt about this series and this ending. And to tell the honest truth, I think it really delivered. That said, I'm not sure what this issue was.  Where we last left off we had Sinestro finally taking claim of The Entity, the Embodiment of the White.
