Got to be one of my Favorites of all TIME! 0
This is the collected first few parts of the Blackest Night story arc, that in my opinion was one of the coolest arcs that DC has had in a while. I especially liked the stuff in the latter parts but the sheer intrigue and drama in this book in particular is just awesome. I'm usually not a big Ivan Reis fan. But he did some awesome work in these issues. Also the number and variance of covers and artists that did those covers is wonderful to look at all collected in one volume. If you are are...

A great story showing how death isn't really the end,I find it great how they incorporated a bit of the oath into the title's name,it show's a world where nekron rivives all the dead and they battle to take the universe back to death,but the other coloured lanterns fight back...

Bludgeoning Darkness, Relentless Assault, Sub-Plots, and Inspired Ending 0
Couloration and shading is outstanding, excellently crafted details similar to a high budget film, panels chock full of action, nice storyboarding/directing. Comic work of art page after page. Many good things to be said for this collection as a full army of heroes engage an overwhelming horde of foes in a large-scale melee.
