Up for review here is Blackbeard: Legend of the Pyrate King #2.

Follow along as Teach kills off the Captain of the ship. He just couldn't take how mean this dude was any longer. The crew finds him standing over the captain's body and won't stand for it. They have to report him to the militia. Teach isn't going to stand around and wait, so he jumps off the ship and swims to land. As he hides, the militia searches for him. He runs to a tavern, which is also a house of ill repute. He gets a drink, a room, and a woman. But at first seems more interested in watching out the window for his hunters, then the women he hired. Well it doesn't take long for her to catch his attention...

Meanwhile the militia runs into another captain and his crew, Captain Benjamin Hornigold. The militia enters the tavern looking for Teach and the bartender gives him up right away, "Sounds like Betsy's customer, we run an honset brothel. We want no trouble, top of the stairs third door on the right."  The militia breaks down the door and grabs Teach. For a minute he acts as if he is knocked out, until he springs to life and starts fighting them off. A battle ensues as Captain Hornigold takes notice to Teach and thinks he will be good for his ship. So the captain and his men help fight off the militia and take Teach to their boat, in a hurry. But, Teach is kinda pissed, he didn't want to be taken on his first boat and doesn't want to go on this one with Hornigold. Well, he's "Invited" to join and is stuck on there anyhow.

End of this issue. So as my title said, Back to where we started. He started out on a boat with a captain he didn't like. And after this issue, he's on a boat again. Not sure how this captain will treat him but it's not exactly an idea situation as of yet for Mr. Teach.  This whole issue just seemed like a filler book to me. And it was issue # 2! So I rate this an average 3 out of 5. And I hope next issue brings more to the table.
