So far we've seen that different Power Rings have unique abilities that the Green Lantern Ring is incapable of (i.e., Red Rings spew Liquid Fire, Blue Rings can make dying Stars younger, Violet Rings can create a tether between souls that allows a Star Sapphire to arrive at a destination where Love is being threatened as quickly as possible) so what I am wondering is what unique abilities do you think the Black Power Rings will be capable of? We already know that they can reanimate the Dead but do you think they'll have any other special powers that could give The Black Lanterns an advantage over their opponents?

Some how I think they have the power to drain the power of the other rings of the color spectrum.

We all know, well some, that Black is the absences of colour and I agree with Kull, I think there light will be useless. But that we be a scientific view. Not a comic one.

i agree with supreme marvel and kull. Black can fade out and cover all other colors i thikn it will be able to absorb the energy in the ring as well as the life energy of people

I think it'll be like CoIE. Introduction of the Monitor and then the Anit-Monitor.
In this, the introduction of the Black Lanterns and then the introduction of the White Lanterns! :D

Either way they are deffinately gonna be incredibly dangerous to the other lantern corps as even if the blue lanterns use their ability to keep the other rings at max charge they might get drained and loose the ability to do so.

I think Blue Rings are gonna be what keep the Greens and possible the yellows in the war.

Indeed the Blue rings have the strongest lights but the biggest weaknesses as well I mean come on.

1. The require a green lantern near by to use it.

2. Their constructs are based on the Psychosis of their target not what they wish them to be.

i think the blue lantern corps should have 4 or 5 of them die and the main green lantern characters the comics follow should get blue and green rings.

i think that the black rings should reanimate the dead and drain there life force they can't drain other rings powers because thats what the orange ring does i believe and i think the orange light cant drain the blue power ring.... XD!!!!

I think it would be cool if the black power rings could cause a sense of despair in the other lanterns, making it harder for them to concentrate and use their own abilities.

he was already more over powered than supes bc of being ion. Yat isnt missing hes dead. he gave his life to save his planet. He flew in to the red sun. "

I dont think he will come back as a black lantern. I dont think they actually killed him off, either he will come back to fight the black hand since he is ion and can match power with him equally or he would become a blacklantern with ion inside, making him double powerful (im not sure if that could happen tho)

He's not dead, I don't believe that for one second! He'll be back! And I think a lot more powerful than ever!
