To all those I irritated with my predictions of the Shroud taking over for Daredevil: I WAS WRONG! I said I would say so, so there you go. ;D

How Can Black Panther be the New Man Without Fear?

or is it? "
" it won't last. Daredevil fans want to read Daredevil, not Black Panther. "That's the whole point. Black Panther is only temporarily taking his place, until Daredevil comes back. Did you honestly think that T'Challa was a permanent change?
Black Panther has had four self-titled volumes, one limited series, and one graphic novel. I think it's better to say that Black Panther currently doesn't have his own book. As far as no one buying Black Panther comics, your claim is either a joke or you're obviously clueless. Ever since volume 2 (written by Christopher Priest from 1998-2003), Black Panther comic books have sold over 20,000 copies on average. Not a number to be proud of, but it indicates that people have been buying them. Do your research and come back." You want to know why black panther doesn't have his own solo book? No one buys black panther comics. "

@cbishop:
lol but i have to say Told YA So.lol
With Wakanda in the condition it is in, why is Tchalla getting involved in the US? You would think he would be doing everything in his power to put his country back in order.
"You would think he would be doing everything in his power to put his country back in order. "Shuri, the Princess-Regent, has that under control. T'Challa isn't the King anymore.
Feel bad for BP, he will face the same criticisms that all characters taking existing mantles face. He's not a terrible character but is just not associated with the 'man without fear' title.
What does this say about BP, it's not like a Nightwing or Bucky situation where he is replacing a mentor. BP is an established character, move him into Hells Kitchen if you want but the mantle addition is unnecessary.
Bad idea. Very bad. Marvel, what's going on? You're changing the title from Daredevil: The Man Without Fear to Black Panther: The Man Without Fear? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? UGH!!!!. It's like you changed from the The Incredible Hulk to The Incredible Hercules. Why don't you just call it Black Panther? Starting with issue #1 instead of 513. He is not the man without fear. Daredevil is and he's always will be. Stan Lee, you're in charge here, do something. These writers and artists are ruining our beloved characters.
YOU'RE FIRED!!!
Black Panther is awesome, so F.U haters. . . Anyways, I don't think he should be called the man without fear. Because it dosen't seem to fit his role at the black panther.
I'm just glad to see Hudlin off the book. When Christopher Priest took over Black Panther, he completely retooled the character, making him a powerful, noble monarch who rarely spoke and who we never heard an inner-monologue for, making him even more ominous and powerful.
Then Hudlin rebooted the character as a modern "White people rule a country like THIS! But see black people rule a country like THIS!" joke. The only problem: Hudlin was serious.
I haven't read the Daredevil comics, but you got to admit, Daredevil: The Man Without Fear sounds catchier than Black Panther: The Man Without Fear.
I personally think it's a neat idea. I'm Daredevil fan and haven't read much Black Panther but it seems interesting. I think what we're all doing is judging it before Shadowland is finished. We don't know how Shadowland will end. By the end of it, it may make perfect sense for T'Challa to take over as guardian of Hell's Kitchen. The subtitle doesn't mean that he's a literal "Man Without Fear." We just need to wait a few more months and then, I think, it will make more sense.
I feel like Black Panther is being set up to fail. Why not just giv him his own book instead of just pissing off Daredevil fans
"it won't last. Daredevil fans want to read Daredevil, not Black Panther. "
Actually you'll be suprised....But I agree with you
" I don't get it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He has a whole kingdom to protect and millions of followers and capable warriors that could protect Hell's kitchen. WHY IS HE DOING IT HIMSELF?? It makes no sense. "he is searching for him self because of the events in doom war
I hope Black Panther gets back to Wakanda, gets the vibranium back, they make a better story for him and Storm, and just write the hell out of the book. WHERE IS PRIEST?!?!?
It should be Kasper Cole
