So marvel released some lettered pages for next week's issue of Black Panther: Man Without Fear. after reading them I'm still on the fence about this issue though. Liss and Francavilla have crafted a great and enjoyable series thus far, so they've earned the opportunity to actually screw up before I pass on this.
Honestly this is the only part of Fear Itself that I am really afraid of. On the front it should say "Do you FEAR what we have done with the Black Panther". (If he ends up being this character)

Yeah, IF T'Challa ends up being the guy under this costume I want a damn good explanation as to why he couldn't just face the Hatemonger as the Panther.

seriously. I have always been used to appreciating Black Panthers dedication to Wakanda and had hoped that after he spent a good amount of time in Hells Kitchen he would return. IF he becomes the American Panther it would suggest that his time in the U.S.A would be a bit more permanent.

I know after these fear itself tie ins he WILL be in his current attire. What's weird is that the solicit for that September issue makes it sound like AP's not actually T'Challa. Curious indeed.

I don't if this was suppose to be THE hatemonger, there was a hatemonger after Civil War the Punisher War journals when the Punisher was wearing Caps's mask and boots? Seriously what the hell is that guy messing with immagrants for?
Wasn't Hatemonger on the level of Red Skull and HYDRA? The guy was fighting Fantastic Four, Avengers and SHIELD. Now he's doing back-alley killings of immigrants like a crackhead who refuses to suck d*** for crack but desprate for money to buy crack.........The recession must have got ahold of him also. This is the Hatemonger. This current host had a beef with immigrants and had very hard right wing extremist views, hence his hangup with immigrants.

That actually is a real good guess. Also glad that T'challa isn't the American Panther. I'm all for him being in Hells Kitchen but making him the A.P would have been taking it to the extreme and beyond.

lol agreed. With Daredevil's return to Hells Kitchen though he will be changing locations. If he doesn't return to Wakanda I wonder where they will place him.
